The NARS report, built from the record you already keep
The annual NARS report usually means weeks of rebuilding a year’s activities in a spreadsheet. Here it is a preview, an export and a reconciliation — from the same activity records your providers and reviewers have been keeping all year.
The round trip
Each step is recorded, so you can show later exactly what was sent and why.
Preview
See the year’s rows, choose any exclusions, and fix problems at the source before anything is exported.
Lock
A preview token binds the year, the exclusions and the exact rows, so the export cannot drift from what you reviewed.
Export
Produce the spreadsheet for upload to ANCC, counting only ANCC contact hours even when an activity awarded other credit types too.
Reconcile
Import the results file ANCC returns, and each activity keeps its ANCC Activity ID. An export that was uploaded but never reconciled is flagged, because uploading it again without those IDs would add every activity a second time.
Why it holds up
Every item here is a working part of the product today.
No re-keying
Activities, hours and learners come from the records already kept through the year.
Outcome data
Pre and post test results paired question by question, with a check that enough questions were shared to measure change.
Multi-credit aware
Only ANCC nursing credit is counted, even on interprofessional activities.
Evidence you can show
What was exported, when and by whom is in the audit trail.
